Skit Goldberg stepped onto the Reaping Stage, approaching the microphone that was placed in the middle. The sky was a grey color, the clouds gathering around to make it look like it was night time. It was the perfect setting for the event that was about to take place at District One. "Welcome, to the 76th Annual Hunger Games." he spoke into the microphone, looking upon the crowd of boys and girls, ages 12 to 18. "The time has come for another Hunger Games to be held, and for our Tribute's to be chosen. Like every year, two tributes both boy and girl, are chosen from each district to compete in the Hunger Games, until one person remains." He smiled, but returned to frowning when he saw the crowd begin to fidget, nervous. "Alright. It's time to choose the tributes from District One for this year's Hunger Games." He nodded, walking towards the table that was to the far right of the stage. A glass bowl was set atop of it, tiny papers were folded and filled the bowl. He looked down at it, running his fingers around the bowls rim, then placing his hand inside of the bowl and grabbing one of the slips of paper. He held it up and looked at the crowd, beginning to unfold it. The next few words that would come out of his mouth would cause one family to mourn. They would have to hope and prey that their precious daughter would survive the Hunger Games that has killed hundreds of children over the years. "And the female tribute for District One is..."
